Faith is an enthusiastic legal researcher and writer with over 7 years of research in Human Rights and Criminal Law. In 2015, she picked interest in illicit organ markets and human trafficking for the purpose of organ removal (HTPOR) in 2015 and has continued to research this form of human trafficking, especially in Africa for the purpose of creating awareness, educating as many as possible, and contributing to the policy discourse around combatting the crime. In September 2021, she presented a paper on the amplifying the rights of victim donors of HTPOR at the International Human Trafficking and Social Justice Conference (IHTSJC) 2021. She is a current PhD candidate at the University of Cape Town, conducting research on the Illegal Organ trade in Africa, with a focus on the obtainable variations of organ trafficking in Africa. And when she’s not doing legal research, she’s writing fiction short stories and inspirational blog posts.
