JOHANNESBURG – A six-year-old Limpopo girl who was raped and sustained serious injuries, has died.
She was raped two weeks ago in Serageng village in Nebo, Limpopo.
The girl was in ICU at the Polokwane provincial hospital before succumbing to her injuries on Wednesday.
Limpopo Social Development MEC Nkakareng Rakgoale said the child was gang-raped.
Rakgoale said the police is dealing with the matter.
“A man was arrested in will appear in court on Thursday,” said Rakgoale.
“We plead with the NPA that people like these don’t get bail and get harsh sentences.”SourceeNCA
