Human trafficking is a heinous crime which violates fundamental human rights. It is an exploitation of human beings that robs them of their dignity and basic rights. Human trafficking is not just sexual exploitation, there are various other horrific forms of this crime such as forced labour, forced marriage, organ, and drug trafficking. The entire world is being affected by this heinous crime. Hope to Heal has launched the Hope for Freedom Campaign to combat human trafficking. Government, civil society, corporate sector, professionals, NGOS and individuals are encouraged to join the campaign and unite in the fight against Human trafficking.

The Hope for Freedom Campaign is a national project, whereby we will be visiting as many regions as possible depending on the financial support we receive.

• Conduct research to Identify problem areas
• Ensure that schools are equipped with basic facilities
• Create awareness at schools and the public
• Generate statistics
• Meet with local stakeholders

Through the above findings, we will create a plan of action to address our findings with local stakeholders from each region – Corporate and prominent businesspeople. I strongly believe that it is time for local stakeholders to focus on creating positive change in their region and communities. We are going to work together with all stakeholders to ensure that we meet our target areas.

We at Hope to Heal Foundation are committed to bring positive change in South Africa. We are a non-profit organisation and do not receive State Grants, and therefore cannot achieve the results we want to without the support of Prominent Businessmen and women of South Africa. Funding is crucial and we need an army of support for a task of this calibre.
