Allegations Against Duduzile Zuma
Nkosazana Zuma, daughter of the former president of South Africa, has formally laid charges at the SAPS Sandton police station against her sister, Duduzile Sambudla -Zuma, as well as two additional individuals. According to her complaint, Duduzile Zuma is accused of orchestrating a scheme in which approximately twenty male victims from both South Africa and Botswana were targeted.
The victims were allegedly misled with promises of bodyguard training, purportedly intended to serve their father’s political party. However, upon their arrival, it is reported that these individuals were instead transported to a conflict zone, rather than receiving the promised training. These allegations highlight the grave risks associated with deceptive recruitment practices and underline the broader context of corruption and exploitation under investigation.
Duduzile Zuma Sambudla’s Response to Allegations
Duduzile Zuma Sambudla has responded to the serious accusations made against her by her sister, Nkosazana Zuma, regarding the alleged mercenary recruitment scheme. In her sworn affidavit, submitted to the Sandton Police Station on Monday afternoon, Duduzile Zuma Sambudla firmly denies being the mastermind behind the recruitment programme to Russia. Instead, she asserts that she was the initial victim of an elaborate deception. According to her statement, this deception resulted in more than a dozen South Africans now feared to have been transported toward a conflict zone between Russia and Ukraine.
Duduzile Zuma Sambudla’s version of events, as presented in her affidavit, stands in contrast to the public allegations made by Nkosazana Zuma. The discrepancy between the sisters’ accounts highlights the complexity of the situation and the need for thorough investigation to clarify the facts surrounding the case.

This confirmation from the DPCI underscores the seriousness with which law enforcement is approaching the matter and indicates that further details and findings will be determined through the ongoing investigative process.
